School Uniform

A school uniform helps us to establish a feeling of cohesion and unity within school. The wearing of a school uniform is compulsory by agreement with the governors and in accord with the vast majority of parents’ wishes.

Following the wishes of the majority of our parents we have a simple uniform. Most of the items can be purchased at a reasonable price from local shops and stores.

The Uniform is as follows:

  • Grey or black trousers
  • Grey or black waist skirt or blue/ white gingham dress
  • White shirt / blouse / polo shirt
  • Blue V-neck or crew neck jumper or cardigan with the school logo - school logo is an optional extra and a plain blue cardigan or jumper is acceptable.
  • Plain Black shoes (No Boots / Trainers)

PE KIT

In the interest of health and hygiene all children need a change of clothing For Physical Education. Children are able to come into school dressed in their PE kit on the day they will be taking part in a PE session. Please see below for details of the school PE kit. The school PE kit can be purchased from Boydells.

  • School logo PE top (please see below)
  • Navy PE shorts in Winter children can wear navy jogging bottoms
  • Black pumps or trainers if the activity is to take place outside.

You will be advised by the Class Teacher on which days your child will need PE and swimming kits. For swimming lessons, please send in a towel and swimming costume in a suitable waterproof bag. Swimming lessons take place for children from Y2 upwards at either Kingsway Leisure Centre or Halewood Leisure Centre.. Please note that earrings must not be worn for any PE lesson or after school club which involves a sporting activity. If a child has earrings in and cannot remove them themselves, then they will be unable to take part in the lesson.

It is advisable for parents to clearly mark clothes with the child’s name.
