Letter to Parents of Halton Year 6 children
For admission during term time in any class we ask that you approach the school directly for a school registration form and a Halton in year admission form. Once these are complete a start date will be agreed.
Please note – For all admissions into Widnes Academy and Nursery the school office will be required to take a photocopy of a Birth certificate which will be kept securely in your child’s school file in the school office.
Children are eligible for free Nursery provision at Widnes Academy Nursery from the age of 3 and may start the term after their third birthday on either our Morning or Afternoon session.
Nursery application forms can be completed as soon as your child is born and will be retained on file until they are due to turn 3.
When your child is then approaching their 3rd birthday Nursery staff will be in contact to organise and arrange Nursery visit days and will confirm their start date.
Nursery application forms can be downloaded from this website or by calling into the school office.
To arrange a visit to look round the School, please contact the School Office.
Please note, having a nursery place at Widnes Academy does not guarantee a Reception place. All Reception places are allocated under the school's admissions policy and oversubscription criteria (please see this page for more information).
