If your child has been on role in our nursery they will still need to apply for a place in our Reception class through the Local Authority. Details are to be found on our Admissions page.

If my child is going to be absent from school which number do I ring?

The school's pupil absence telephone number is 0151 424 2799 or email school@widnesacademy.co.uk.

How much notice is given to parents/carers regarding school visits or trips?

The school are aware that parents/carers need as much notification as possible in order to prepare and pay for school trips. Every effort is made to ensure that realistic and achievable timescales are in place to make payment methods accessible and for staff to plan, cost and process safe, educational, relevant and exciting school trips for all.

Is a process for payment of trips over time going to be an option for parents/carers in the future in order to spread the cost?
