Welcome to Widnes Academy West Bank and our brand new website. Everyone involved with this new school is excited and looking forward to new challenges.

Our recent Ofsted Inspection (October 2014) judged the school to be Good in all areas -  a testament to the hard work and dedication of all staff, pupils and parents. We are very much a community school and are proud of what we have achieved.

“Teaching is good because teachers have high expectations”

“Pupils social, moral, spiritual and cultural understanding is well-developed through a wide variety of activities and visits”

“Pupils feel safe in school. They behave well and show care and respect for each other and adults”

I am extremely proud to be the Principal of Widnes Academy West Bank. I believe passionately that our children deserve the very best education and that they are at the heart of everything that we do. They make us proud every day and together we can achieve anything!
